  • Objectives
Climate change and other human impacts on the environment such as pollution, deforestation and flooding are constantly in the news, and their effects are likely to increase as the world population grows and human demands for resources increase. The environmental biology degree considers how organisms and communities interact with their environment, and how these interactions are affected by human activities. Furthermore we explore ways in which human impacts on the environment can be reduced, including the sustainable use of biological resources, and the development of environmental biotechnologies.
