    For September 2019 and September 2020 entry: 104 to 120 UCAS tariff points including 2 A-Levels or equivalent qualifications. BTEC Extended Diploma DMM. Excluded subjects: This course does not accept General Studies (unless accompanied by 2 A Levels or equivalent in appropriate subjects).



    If English is not your first language, you'll need IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in writing, speaking, listening and reading.

    Our digital universe is growing at an unprecedented pace. Both the scientific and commercial worlds are undergoing a transformation, with Data Science and Analytics, and recently also Artificial Intelligence, emerging as one of the key paradigms of scientific discovery and a competitive dimension.This course is a response to the great and immediate need for people with data science and analytics expertise acknowledged by industry and governmental bodies. After completing the course, you will be familiar with the foundations of machine learning and statistics, the stack of recently developed technologies enabling fast processing of large amounts of data (Big Data), relevant application areas of these technologies, and efficient ways of communicating the results of whatever analysis you perform, to various audiences. The course will give you a working knowledge of main state-of-the-art techniques for intelligent data analysis, enabling you to apply them to real-world problems in a variety of contexts, gaining insights into business, scientific and other kinds of data at the same time.
