  • Objectives
    Sociology is the systematic study and analysis of social relationships. Sociological investigation encompasses wide areas of human experience such as relationships between men and women, patterns of livelihood, family and household formations, popular cultures, participation in political processes, social movements, the formulation of identity, race, ethnicity and gender, changing sexual behaviours, relationships between the powerful and powerless in society.
  • Entry requirements
    Entry Requirements You must offer at least 240-260 points from two 6-unit awards or one 12-unit award at grade C, D and normally GCSE passes at grade C or above in Mathematics and English, or equivalent. Applicants studying BTEC National should offer 200 points or MMM. Applicants with alternative qualifications may wish to contact us for advice before applying.
