• Objectives
  Animal health and disease are constantly in the news. Our understanding of the scientific basis of these topics has increased dramatically, but the challenges remain - and global warming is likely to bring new diseases to this country. If you want to understand the science behind this, and to contribute to the enhancement of animal (and indirectly human) health, then this is the programme for you. Surrey has a long-standing reputation for excellence in both teaching and research in the biomedical sciences. This new degree builds on these strengths and is run in collaboration with experts from the Veterinary Laboratories Agency and the Institute for Animal Health, based within 20 minutes of the University.
