    Entry requirements English language requirements: * A pass at GCSE level in English Language (grade C or above). International students must have an English language qualification at a suitable level, for example: • IELTS 6.5 or equivalent • TOEFL Paper-based Test: 580 with no less than 4.0 on TWE • TOEFL Computer-based Test: 240 with no less than 4.0 on essay writing Academic entry requirements: * A minimum UK Upper Second Class Honours (2.1) degree or equivalent in a discipline other than Computing or Management.

  • Course description
    This new programme offers graduates the opportunity to pursue their interests in both Computing and Management subjects at a postgraduate level. This MSc runs in collaboration with Leeds Business School and is primarily for candidates with undergraduate degrees in disciplines other than Computing or Management.

    Modules taken in the Business School will give students a firm foundation in essential management issues, including marketing, finance, and organizational theory. In the School of Computing candidates will be introduced to the core fundamentals of information systems and computer science, including programming, within an environment of cutting-edge computing research.

    School of Computing
    The School is an established centre of excellence for computer science, artificial intelligence and more recently, informatics. The most recent Government Research Assessment Exercise gave the School one of the highest ratings (rated 5) for research affording it an international standing in areas such as artificial intelligence, scientific computing and visualization, algorithms and complexity, and Internet technologies.
