What is this course about?
The course introduces you to the skills required for media production, from original idea through to final product.
What will I study?
You develop ways of looking at and analysing media products. You will gain knowledge and experience of current professional roles and working methods in media industries. Key practical skills covered include video camera operation, lighting and editing.Your studies focus on working as part of a production team to create media products based on current creative industry practices.
What can I do after the course?
Following successful completion of the course you can progress onto the Access Mixed Media pathway, Access Film Studies pathway and other training courses and schemes.
