    Introduction

    Technology and the ways we communicate and do business are constantly changing.

    The course is part of a suite built around e-business ideas and disciplines which includes:

    MSc e-Business

    MSc e-Learning and Innovation Management

    MSc e-Entrepreneurship

    The MSc e-Governance route gives a good general education in e-business and then expands those
    ideas to look at the implications for the governance of public and not-for-profit organisations. You will
    be introduced to the central concepts and key technologies involved in transforming organisations.
    You will then have the opportunity to explore the various facets of e-governance in more detail looking
    at the potential implications and public relations. Modules are carefully designed to enable you to
    contribute to and manage organisational decisions relating to e-governance and organisational success

    Term 3

    -Dissertation

    You will have the opportunity to gain first hand experience of research in the field through your dissertation. This is an extended piece of research which allows you to pursue an area of interest in depth. You will be allocated your own personal supervisor who will offer guidance and advice to ensure successful completion of this part of the programme.

    Teaching and Assessment
    The course is taught using a mixture of block and weekly seminars. We provide a wide range of information sources and taught materials, and encourage you to discuss and develop these in class and in your own time.

    We teach technical topics allowing for a range of background knowledge and integrate assessments with teaching.

    All modules on this course are assessed by one assignment. Assignments vary and can be based on essays or portfolios, and you will complete a range of tasks often involving practical elements and reports.
