    Entrance Requirements Honours degree in a relevant subject. Equivalent work experience may be accepted. Interview and portfolio submission may be required. Additional Information for International Students An IELTS score of 6.5 and TOEFL score of 575 on paper and 233 on computer.

    Course Content
    Full-time model:

    1st Semester
    -Research methods/approach to a discipline ('home' discipline)
    -Adventures in interdisciplinarity (as interdisciplinary cohort)

    2nd Semester
    -Various options from ‘home’ discipline
    -Further Adventures in interdisciplinarity (as interdisciplinary cohort)

    Summer
    -Major creative project (double module as interdisciplinary cohort)
    -Public showcase

    Part-time model also available.

    Assessment
    A combination of practice-based assessment, written work, interview, presentation and alternative forms of creative assessment.

    Funding
    AHRC, DEL, University funding.

    Special Features
    A bespoke learning journey as part of a unique and eclectic interdisciplinary cohort. Teaching input from professional arts practitioners. Strong emphasis on practice-based work.

    This MA has been developed by the Centre for Excellence in the Creative and Performing Arts (NI) – an interdisciplinary Arts Programme at Queen’s – in collaboration with the following disciplines: Creative Writing, Drama and Performance Studies, Ethnomusicology/Anthropology, Film and Visual Studies, Music and Sonic Arts.
