Comments about MA in European Integration and Public Policy - At the institution - Belfast - Belfast - Belfast - Northern Ireland
To provide an in-depth grounding in the structures, theories, and policies of the European Union, while also examining the deeper processes of Europeanisation which are reshaping contemporary European polities and societies.
Entrance Requirements Normally at least an Upper Second Class Honours degree or equivalent in Politics, International Studies, European Studies or a related subject. Additional Information for International Students Students require a IELTS certificate (minimum 6.5 or above) or equivalent.
MA in European Integration and Public Policy
Students take four taught modules:
-Approaches to European Integration and Public Policy
-Issues in European Governance
-The European Union: Institutions, Process and Policy
-The Theory and Politics of Globalisation
Students also complete a dissertation of no more than 15,000 words.
Examination and continuous assessment.
This degree qualifies for DEL funding, but any eligible candidate wanting to be considered for such an award must apply before 1 April in any year.
It is also possible to study for a Diploma in each of the areas covered by the MA programmes.
The Diploma is constructed around the coursework elements of the MA programmes. On successful completion of the coursework, it is possible to complete the dissertation for an award of MA.
