  The programme is targetted to students who have taken a first degree in Russian, who want to increase their knowledge in a number of areas of Russian Studies. These include: Russian Language and Applied Linguistics in relation to Russian; Russian and Comparative Literature; Russian Media; Film and Cultural Studies; and Translation Studies in Relation to Russian.
  
  Learning Outcomes
  
  The programme aims to prepare students for research work in the fields studied, or for employment in cultural institutions or the media.
  
  How You Will Be Taught
  
  Candidates are required to attend a course relating to research in their area. In addition, a number of assignments will be agreed at the beginning of the year, taking into account the student's research interests.
