    A course for graduates with a good first degree in any subject, who wish to gain knowledge and a critical appreciation of management principles and practices for a career in management. A balanced mix of technical and conceptual study including the development of your analytical and critical abilities, to give you skills that are transferable to a variety of future careers around the world

    Entry requirements A good second class honours degree or better from a recognised university, or approved professional qualification. Our standard English requirements for overseas students are: IELTS 7.0 with a minimum of 6 in each category or TOEFL 617 with 4.5 on the Test of Written English, which must be taken as a separate part of the TOEFL test, or 260 in the computer-based test with 5 in the TWE

    Course content

    Two taught semesters, followed by a project.

    Plus two optional modules

    Teaching
    -Lectures
    -Seminars
    -Case studies
    -Group work for collaborative learning
    -Augmented with web-based discussion groups

    Assessment
    -Coursework
    -Individual assignments
    -Group projects
    -End-semester examinations
    -Dissertation

    Certificate/Diploma in Management
    Students who successfully complete the first semester but do not proceed receive the Certificate. Those who pass both semesters´ modules but do not proceed receive the Diploma.
