Objectives
This course is designed to develop a broad knowledge of contemporary management by focusing on a detailed exploration of the theory and practice of key management areas. Studying for this award allows for a higher degree of flexibility. The course will run full-time over one academic year; the part-time route will last for three academic years; and there will also be the flexibility of block release weekend learning.

Course Content
For the MSc Management you will normally study six modules at Stage 1, three double modules at Stage 2, followed by the dissertation at Stage 3. The Stage 1 modules for this scheme examine the following areas:
* Strategic Accounting for Decision Making (10 credits)
* Managing and Leading People (10 credits)
* Research Methods for Management and Professional Development (10 credits)
* Strategic Operations Management (10 credits)
* Corporate Environment (10 credits)
* Marketing Systems and Structures (10 credits)
Stage 2 modules consist of option modules and students have the opportunity to undertake any other Masters level module within the University which contributes to a coherent programme of management. The appropriateness of such study will be decided in conjunction with the Scheme Team and may be subject to timetabling constraints.
Students studying at a Franchise Partner or at an overseas location may have specific option modules to choose from. Students are advised to contact their local contacts for full details of the option modules available there.
Successful completion of the taught section allows progression to the Dissertation (60 credits)
