    This programme focuses on the study of psychological factors associated with high-level performance. Drawing extensively from research and practice in sport psychology, the programme examines how psychology can contribute to maintaining and enhancing high-level performance across a variety of domains such as sport, business, performing arts, military and emergency services.

    Learning Outcomes

    This degree produces a balanced educational programme between the psychological areas pertinent to the course and the wider professional skills and issues associated with the application of scientific ideas. The course aims to develop the ability of students to be able to critically appraise and apply scientific literature and to plan, conduct and disseminate their own research.

    How You Will Be Taught

    Within each course the teaching will comprise traditional lectures and tutorials in which concepts and ideas will be presented, analysed and discussed.
