    This programme is designed to give engineering graduates and experienced sea-going officers an opportunity to acquire essential knowledge in ship operations. It is expected that graduates will go on to be employed as ship managers  and technical superintendents.

    Content

    The programme consists of three elements: lecture courses, a group project and an individual project. Courses include:

        * Waterborne transportation systems
        * Ship management and cost control
        * Maritime contracts and insurance
        * Inspection and survey
        * Safety management and reliability
        * Maritime regulatory framework.
