  • Objectives
    This course will develop: -analytical and managerial competencies appropriate to tourism and hospitality sectors, organisations and operations in diverse operating environments -your ability to define, investigate, analyse, evaluate and respond to the tactical and strategic issues of concern to your chosen industry -your capacity to manage your own learning and self- development in the context of organisational change -your capacity to stimulate change in response to current and future developments in public and private sector organisations operating in the industries. On completion of the course, graduates will be -knowledgeable about the diversity of managerial functions and work in your chosen organisations -aware of the cultural differences associated with managerial work in your chosen organisations -able to develop their aptitude for leadership and to appraise and respond to issues facing managers in general and specifically in your chosen areas.
  • Entry requirements
    The normal requirements for embarking upon a postgraduate taught degree are: -A good Bachelors Honours degree -For post-experience and professional qualifications, there may be additional entry requirements set by the association or institute that ultimately administers the qualification in question.     -30 week industrial placement
    -Any other pathway unit from a Services Management postgraduate course (except Marketing CI and Events management)  

    Semester Three

    -Research Methods
    -20,000 word Dissertation
