MSc: 12 months full-time; 24 months part-time; up to 60 months on modular basis
PgDip: 9 months full-time; 18 months part-time; up to four years on modular route
This programme provides you with a thorough grounding in urbanregeneration policy and practice and will be attractive to those who wish to focus on practical policies and strategies for addressing social, economic and physical problems in urban areas.
Content
MSc students take three core courses, up to five options and complete a dissertation. PgDip students do taught courses only.
Core courses
* Changing cities and neighbourhoods
* Contemporary government and governance
* Policy analysis.
At least 40 credits of options from
* Designing places
* Economic development and employment
* Neighbourhood regeneration and community participation
* Regeneration and health
* Regenerating cities
* Spatial planning strategies.
For the remaining 20 credits there is a free choice from a range of options. All courses are taught in intensive two- or four-day modules.
