Paediatric Dentistry MDentSci
The course is designed for dentists wishing to complete the requirements for the European CCST or its equivalent in non-EU countries, as a specialist in Paediatric Dentistry.
Full time 3 years, part time 4 years
The School of Dentistry is part of the Leeds Dental Institute which also includes the Leeds Dental Hospital of the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The Institute is semi-autonomous within the University and the Trust and is responsible in particular for its own organisational arrangements. Postgraduate research and training is offered by the Institute in the Divisions of Child Dental Health, Dental Surgery, Oral Biology and Restorative Dentistry.
What you study
Included is the clinical care of children including routine and advanced Paediatric dentistry and those with special needs (medically, mentally, physically, socially or behaviourally disadvantaged).
