  • Objectives
    This programme is aimed at graduates from a computer science-related degree Using the outstanding facilities within the new Technology Centre - and working with staff who can call on significant research and consultancy expertise - the course can be tailored to allow you to rapidly bring your skills and know-how to an advanced level in this particular area Depending on your individual background and experience, you may cover topics from database technology, Internet technology, cybermetrics, software engineering, multimedia technology, HCI, object-oriented techniques and computer networks You have the option of evenings-only study but this may limit your choice of modules You will have the opportunity, following successful completion of the award, to advance to a PG Diploma or a Masters degree in Computer Science which would take a minimum of 3 years

    You must have a degree in computing - usually at least a second class Honours or equivalent Alternatively you may contine your studies to our Postgraduate Diploma or Masters programmes
