    The School of Dentistry is part of the Leeds Dental Institute which also includes the Leeds Dental Hospital of the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The Institute is semi-autonomous within the University and the Trust and is responsible in particular for its own organisational arrangements. Postgraduate research and training is offered by the Institute in the Divisions of Child Dental Health, Dental Surgery, Oral Biology and Restorative Dentistry.

    Formal instruction in conservative dentistry, periodontology, prosthetic dentistry, applied dental materials, research design and methodology, statistics and related subjects.
