    Entry requirements Learners wishing to start an accountancy apprenticeship must be employed in an accounts environment and be able to attend college one day a week.
  • Course description
    General information

    The accountancy apprenticeship is available for learners 16-65 who are employed in an accounts environment for a minimum of 16 hours a week. College attendance is on a day-release basis and assessment will take place in the workplace. Learners are required to build a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate their skills, understanding and knowledge of the subject. Training is provided through workshop sessions, tutorials and classroom teaching.

    Course content

    In-house training will take place one day a week and regular assessments and reviews will occur in the workplace. learners will work towards and NVQ level 2 in accounts and keyskills in Application of Number and Communication.
