    Entry Requirements:

    * The course is suitable for branches of allied health professions, nursing and midwifery, medicine and residential and social care will be eligible to apply. Relevant professions specifically include clinical engineers, operating department practitioners, occupational therapists, paramedics, physiotherapists, play therapists, podiatrists, psychologists, speech and language therapists, respiratory technicians and sports therapists. The first degree will be assessed on an individual basis.
    * A degree or diploma in the relevant profession is required.

    Course Description:

    Students need to complete both compulsory and optional modules to a total of 180 M-level credits for the MSc in Healthcare Sciences. Students complete modules totalling 120 M-level credits to be eligible for the Diploma award.

    All students complete a compulsory generic module in Research Methods in Health and Social Care.

    Full-time students attend all modules in one academic year, whilst part-time students must complete the Research Methods module and equivalent of additional 30 credits in the first year. They need to complete remaining 60 credits in the second year.
