    Even the most talented graduates can be held back by a lack of business and management qualifications. The Postgraduate Certificate in Management is designed to equip you with the core management knowledge and skills valued by leading employers and help you secure the right position. It's the ideal conversion course for non-business graduates with limited management experience or those with management experience but with no formal qualifications. You'll benefit from extensive support from the UWE Career Development Unit as well as access to employers who regularly approach UWE looking to recruit business graduates.

    Content
    The course acts as a high-level introduction to management. You'll study four modules (each worth 15 credits) which combine to cover the core disciplines of management:

    -Strategy
    -Marketing
    -Economics
    -Leadership and Change Management
    -Human Resources Management
    -Operations and Information Management
    -Finance

    Teaching is full-time for one term, from September to December with assessment in January, and results through by February.

    Teaching and learning
    You'll learn through a variety of stimulating methods which may include case studies, syndicate-based and group exercises, and presentations, as well as lectures and independent study. These modern methods create an environment that is enjoyable, varied and hugely effective
