  • Entry requirements
Normally a 1st or 2nd class UK Honours degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline. Alternatively, a lesser qualification together with appropriate work experience may be acceptable. Students whose first language is not English must attain an IELTS score of 6.5.
  • Course description
Although programme management has its roots in project management, the two disciplines are markedly different and good project managers do not necessarily make good programme managers.

This course will develop both programme and project management competence in an environment which brings together both Ministry of Defence and public sector supplier personnel in a unique 'customer and supplier' environment.

Specifically, students gain the capabilities needed for the implementation of strategic change through project management or programme leadership in a defence industry or public sector context.

We provide students with an online learning portal, through which they can access a wide range of facilities.

This portal will provide access to course material and other services including: access to the library with its series of online databases; course administration, news and timetables; document templates to help students set out work they have to submit and a communication and information facility.
