BA International Economics

  • Objectives Knowledge of the international economy is becoming increasingly important in todays globalised workplace. This course equips you with an in-depth understanding of international and global economics, by offering modules which explore international trade, finance and business today. You learn to use current economic analysis to examine the world economy in the twenty-first century and you also carry out independent research into aspects of the global economy. The School has a strong research base and a thriving alumni community that maintains links with employers and City institutions.
  • Entry requirements The current requirement is 200 UCAS points from two or more A-Levels or equivalent. You should also have GCSE grade C, or equivalent, in English Language and Mathematics.

    Single Honours students take eight modules at each of three levels. Joint Honours involves four modules from each level in International Economics, plus four from your other subject. You may also choose a Major/Minor combination after level 1.
