BSc Nutrition, Exercise and Health

  • Objectives The importance of nutrition and exercise in the prevention of disease and maintenance of health is well recognised. This course is designed to enable you to develop a thorough understanding of the factors that affect health and illness, and the role that nutrition and exercise can play in the prevention of many of the chronic conditions, which are major public health problems.
  • Entry requirements You should have GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent). Successful applicants are normally expected to achieve one of the following: at least 160 points from two or more A-levels, including biology and normally chemistry and another science; or at least 160 points from two A-levels (Applied subjects) in science; or a BTEC National Diploma in Science with MMP and at least four merits in the final year, excluding common skills. Entry from appropriate Foundation and Access courses will also be considered.
