Target audience:
Consultant rheumatologists, rheumatology trainees, GPwSIs physiotherapists and allied health professionals
Aims and objectives:
This three day course will provide basic knowledge and practical skills in musculoskeletal ultrasound as relevant to rheumatological and musculoskeletal practice. Focus will be on hands-on experience of the sonographic appearance and systematic scanning of common joints. By the end of the course delegates will have a practical understanding of the role of musculoskeletal ultrasound in rheumatic diseases.
