  • Course description What is this course about?
    This course equips you with the right skills needed to take the next steps towards becoming an Apprentice. You will complete a Btec in Work Skills level 1, focusing on your preferred career choice of the Arts, Business or ICT. You will meet employers and industry professionals who will work with you to develop your interpersonal skills so you can begin a career in your chosen industry. You will also study key skills in Literacy and Numeracy

    What will I study?
    You will study a range of skills needed to secure and succeed in employment. This will include a range of topics such as communication skills, developing working relations, networking and personal effectiveness.

    What can I do after the course?
    Upon successful completion of this course, we will assess your suitability for an apprenticeship position.
    You can progress on to an apprenticeship, subject to employment being secured in:
    # Business and Administration (Level 2 and 3)
    # IT users (Level 2 and 3)
    # Accounting (Level 3)
    # Music Business (Level 3)
    # Live events and Promotion (Level 3)
    # Community Arts (Level 3)
