  • Course description What is this course about?
    This course gives you a broad initial qualification in business covering three core units and three specialist units.

    What will I study?
    This course will provide you with the broad knowledge of business and covers three core units and three optional units. The core units are:

    - Exploring Business Purposes
    - Developing Customer Relations
    - Investigating Financial Control.

    The three optional units are:
    - People in Organisations
    - Business Communication
    - Personal Selling.

    You may have the opportunity to take additional units. You will also develop key skills in communication, numeracy and IT. During the course you may also have the opportunity to take part in one block of work experience.

    What qualification will I get?
    BTEC First Diploma in Business

    What can I do after the course?
    On completion, you can progress on to the BTEC National Diploma in Business or another related subject. Alternatively, you may choose to find a job as an administrator or in a customer service role
