  • Course description Course Description

    This course is for students with exisitng sewing skills. It is an opportunity for students to work with more challenging fabrics, using couture techniques to create well-finished, professional looking garments. Each term focuses on a different area of garment construction, e.g skirts and trousers, dresses or jackets. Students may bring bought patterns to make up into garments.

    Successful completion of the course can lead on to more advanced courses at this college.

    What books and equipment do I need?

    You will need a sewing kit of scissors, needles, pins, tape measure, threads, a thimble, as well as fabric for the garment/s you make.
