  • Entry requirements Entry Requirements A first degree with a 2.2 grade or equivalent. Where English is not the first language, a language qualification is required, such as IELTS scoring 6.0. Students without a first degree but with professional and vocational experience (e.g. students with Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status) may be considered subject to demonstrating the potential to succeed

  • Course description Two-thirds of this programme consists of a research project that allows for the development of a significant expertise in a particular subject. This is complemented by options from the School's portfolio of Master’s programmes.

    The programme is ideal for an industrially-based project and/or student.

    Research areas can be drawn from across the School's areas of interest and expertise, but include manufacturing systems, control and instrumentation, and bulk solids handling.
