Entry Requirements A first degree with a 2.2 grade or equivalent. Where English is not the first language, a language qualification is required, such as IELTS scoring 6.0. Students without a first degree but with professional and vocational experience (e.g. students with Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status) may be considered subject to demonstrating the potential to succeed

Course description
Two-thirds of this programme consists of a research project that allows for the development of a significant expertise in a particular subject. This is complemented by options from the School's portfolio of Master’s programmes.
The programme is ideal for an industrially-based project and/or student.
Research areas can be drawn from across the School's areas of interest and expertise, but include manufacturing systems, control and instrumentation, and bulk solids handling.
