  • Course description Garden design is an art with a 4,000 year history, requiring skills in construction, planting and design.

    It is distinguished from landscape architecture by its focus on private rather than public space, but the technical and design skills involved are similar.

    The programme can be taken by graduates in any discipline who have taken the University of Greenwich Certificate in Landscape Design, or equivalent qualification, and also by students who hold a BA Hons Garden Design, or equivalent qualification.
