Entry requirementsIf you would like to develop the knowledge and skills to be able to identify, support and guide gifted and talented children to reach their full potential, this course is ideal. It is particularly appropriate for educational professionals who have recently taken up positions of coordinatorship and management in this area. The course also caters for teachers in schools and colleges, educational managers and administrators, advisory and inspection services, and school coordinators for gifted and talented students.

Course descriptionWhat will you study?
You will learn how to identify gifted and talented children. You will be introduced to specific subject areas addressing how to support and guide these children, and will learn how to manage their learning in order to encourage them to reach their full potential. You will also look at the strategies taken by schools for maximising the use of existing and potential resources used to educate gifted and talented students.
