This course will allow you to develop skills and knowledge by using LCC's state-of-the-art TV studio, working on commercial and college productions. The Certificate will provide you with an intensive practice-focused experience, which will enhance their vocational skills and prepare you for industry or potentially postgraduate level study. You will benefit from LCC's designation as a Skillset Screen Academy, a major feature of which is industry collaboration in terms of staffing and project generation.
Encouraging students to generate concepts and ideas for commercial productions is a key element of the curriculum. In summary, this course maximises the opportunities offered by the single campus environment, allows you to maximise the potential of the TV studio and builds links to industry under the Skillset banner.

Career Prospects
Students will crew on productions run regularly in the TV studio, both commercial and UAL supported. A majority of students will progress to work in the growing TV production sector, often as freelance camera operators, vision mixers, editors, visual effects, VT operators, production managers, grips or within small and medium size enterprises.
We expect a limited number of students to pursue postgraduate opportunities.
