This short course examines the need for health and safety in the workplace, and is designed to enable supervisors and managers to successfully plan, implement and manage a Health and Safety management system in their area of responsibility. The course looks at the need for and business benefits of a health and safety system and introduces methods for employing health and safety procedures effectively in the workplace, including planning and developing a health and safety policy, setting standards, organising staff, managing performance and conducting reviews and audits.
