MEng Structural Engineering with Architectural Studies

  • Objectives This is an engineering course with a substantial addition of architectural history, theory and design studio work. This course is designed to prepare you for working in the multi-disciplinary design teams increasingly found in the construction industry. We offer a comprehensive range of four-year MEng courses, and a three-year BEng course in Civil Engineering. The MEng degrees fulfil all the educational requirements to become a Chartered Engineer, whereas BEng students will need to complete a period of further learning, such as an approved MSc course or a programme of structured learning devised by an employer.
  • Entry requirements Entry requirements GCE/VCE A levels - ABB BTEC National Diploma - 3 Distinctions Two GCE A Levels plus two GCE AS Levels - AB+BB Scottish Highers - AAB Irish Leaving Cert. - AAABB International Baccalaureate - 33 points Core Requirements - GCE A Level Maths plus another science A Level. VCE A Level Double Award Science or Engineering considered.
  • Academic title MEng Structural Engineering with Architectural Studies
  • Course description Our students usually select from a range of compulsory and optional modules to add up to 120 credits.
