Course descriptionThe Chartered Institute of Marketing's Professional Postgraduate Diploma is the highest professional qualification offered by the CIM.
This professional course is for those who have already gained a significant level of knowledge and/or experience of marketing. The focus is on the strategic aspects of marketing management and the qualification is increasingly seen as a benchmark of your competence at the highest level.
The course has intakes in October and March of each year, and normally takes between 9 and 15 months to complete. Assessment takes place via a 3hr written examination for each module.
The course consists of four modules, taught via weekend workshops and supported by distance learning. In order to gain the CIM Professional Postgraduate Diploma, students register with the CIM and take an examination for each module. You may also study individual modules if you wish, enabling you to study at a slower pace if you prefer or to pick up individual modules that you may need to complete the course.
Graduates of the full course will be elligible for exemption from the first four modules of our MSc Strategic Marketing.
