  • Entry requirements Entry Requirements Applicants must have a previous degree without BPS accreditation and have attained at least an upper 2nd class degree. Additionally their programme of study must have included at least 60 credits (or equivalent) of psychology at honours level

  • Course description The diploma, accredited by the British Psychological Society, offers students with a good first degree in a non-psychology specialisation and at least 60 credits (or equivalent) in psychology at honours level, the opportunity to develop knowledge of the core areas of psychology.

    Within the programme, students also receive a strong grounding in psychological research methods. This component focuses on learning how psychological science is conducted, analysed and reported through a series of guided learning exercises, culminating in an independent research project. Students will receive carefully designed tutorial support for the duration of the programme.

    Before starting the programme, students receive individually tailored learning packages containing background information and formative assessments for addressing those areas of psychology in which individual students need help.
