This course is delivered by the AACSB-accredited Business School. Fewer than 5% of Business Schools worldwide are accredited by the AACSB, and this accolade recognises our focus on excellence in all areas of learning, teaching, assessment, and the student experience.
On this Business and Management (Global Operations) pathway, you will develop knowledge, understanding and skills in the areas of operations management, operations strategy and supply chain management in a global context. You will learn about the roles and impact of operations and supply chain management on the success and growth of an organisation, as well as how global operations and supply chain, through planning, sourcing, making, delivering and returning products and services to global businesses and their customers, can achieve competitive advantages for the firm.
As well as preparing you for a career in global operations or supply chain management, this programme will act as a stepping stone for you to work in any industry, anywhere in the world. Not only will you gain an in-depth understanding of business and management, but you will also enhance your team working, independent learning, communication and problem-solving skills, your awareness of responsible business practice, as well as the digital competencies and cultural intelligence required to work in an increasingly globalised and digitised economy.
One of the most popular aspects of this course is its flexibility, giving you the opportunity to gradually tailor your course according to your particular interests. The first year will give you a strong foundation in business and management, after which you will be able to specialise in global operations and supply chain management, whilst at the same time having the opportunity to select from a range of other options.
Our staff are knowledgeable and have excellent experience in the world of business. We also organise regular guest lectures and networking events using our extensive contacts, giving you the opportunity to hear from and meet some incredibly successful people from a range of sectors.
