Required subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Physical Education, Food technology, Design Technology (food) (all science-related subject areas will be considered).

As more and more health issues are linked to diet, the field of nutrition has grown in importance, causing a substantial rise in related career opportunities. The course is accredited by the Association for Nutrition, so you will be eligible to register as a Registered Associate Nutritionist when you graduate.On this course, you'll discover the key areas of nutrition, combining nutritional sciences with the social, behavioural and lifestyle issues that are present in society today and that influence the food and drink we consume. You’ll understand the complexity of nutritional science, as well as understand the food production industry by studying the food supply chain, food product development, legislation as well as the importance of food safety and microbiology.
