    For September 2019 and September 2020 entry: 96 -104 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: MMM.

    Numeracy and Literacy: GCSE English and Mathematics grade 4 (or grade C in the old grading system). We also accept iGCSEs, Key Skills and Functional Skills and other qualifications at Level 2 of the National Qualifications Framework.

    International entry requirements:

    For September 2019 entry: If English is not your first language you'll need IELTS (Academic) 6.5 with minimum 6.0 in each component or equivalent.

    For September 2020 entry: If English is not your first language you'll need IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component or equivalent.

    This course is based on over 50 years’ experience in
    educating photographers and filmmakers and maintains a tradition of being
    highly practical, while offering a well-considered blend of assignments and
    academic study. It balances technical mastery, personal experimentation and
    creative development, giving you the best possible basis for a successful

    The craft and practice of photographic production is at the
    heart of this course. You’ll undertake a wide range of projects, including
    professionally guided assignments, research into the industry, as well as the
    production of a professional-style portfolio.

    Wiltshire College & University Centre in Salisbury has
    outstanding studio space, equipment and facilities that enable you to gain
    experience of working with industrystandard equipment.

    You’ll work in fully equipped studios and have access to
    state-ofthe-art facilities including two post-production computer suites, a
    range of high-end professional cameras (all formats), and lighting equipment.
    You will have the opportunity to use the latest digital imaging software, as
    well as traditional techniques for postproduction work, thus increasing the
    opportunities for creative solutions to contemporary communication challenges.

    success in entering national and international competitions, such as those
    organised by the Royal Photographic Society, the Association of Photographers
