    Bournemouth is ideally situated, with some of Britain's most iconic prehistoric and later sites within easy travelling distance. Students have the opportunity to gain high quality work experience during their degree with placements on archaeological excavations throughout the UK and abroad. Recent archaeology students have participated in projects as far afield as the USA, Greece and Russia.
