Objectives
This is a modular degree that has been specially designed to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to work effectively in the general field of applied biosciences, but with a particular emphasis on biotechnology. The degree programme is part of an integrated set of 10 bioscience degrees, in which you make increasingly specialised module choices during the three years of academic study in order to define your chosen degree title. These modules reflect research expertise in the School as well as current trends in the subject. All students carry out a research project which will play a major role in developing practical and communication skills.
