  • Objectives
As this course is part of the BIT framework (explained below) it means that a graduate of this course will not only be competent in all areas of setting up, managing and operating a business but will also, because of the material covered in the first two years of the course, have a good combination of both business and technical skills. The final year modules of the IT Management course focus on the core areas of setting up and running a business; the differing management approaches that exist; how to elicit business requirements; and ways to develop or improve business processes. Students also have the choice of one further elective on this pathway to allow them to tailor their final year to suit their own interests and career aspirations.
