  • Objectives
The Physics with Medical Physics degree focuses on interesting and often innovative applications of physics in clinical medicine. You will gain a broad and fundamental understanding of physics while developing particular expertise in medical applications. The Physics course provides a broad-based and intellectually demanding education across the whole spectrum of modern physics. It includes all the fundamental knowledge essential to the professional physicist, and will help you to develop the qualities and abilities physicists rely on. The medical physics component is taught in association with the Department of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering, which has strong roots in both the National Health Service, where it provides day-to-day clinical services, and the University, with an active research and development function.
