    For September 2019 and January 2020 entry: A Bachelor Honours Degree with 2:2 in a required subject, or equivalent. Required subjects: Law, Accounting, Management, Business or Marketing (if you intend to select the Trade Mark Attorney Route); Law, Sciences or Engineering (if you intend to select the Patent Attorney Route)





    For September 2020 entry: A Bachelor Honours Degree with 2:2, or equivalent.





    If English is not your first language you'll need IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component of writing, speaking, listening and reading.

    This course has been developed in collaboration with the Joint Examination Board of The Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) and The Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA). The LLM in Intellectual Property can be achieved through a year-long programme that has been developed for both UK and international students.  The course is taught by academics of the renowned Centre for Intellectual Property Policy & Management, and enjoys input from intellectual property practitioners from some of the UK’s leading companies and practices.
