    The programme is designed as a staged award, which means that students may leave at one of any three stages, each leading to the recognised postgraduate qualification of Certificate, Diploma or Masters Degree in International Commercial Law.

    The purpose of the course is to develop the knowledge students need to enter the exciting field of international commerce. With the world becoming increasingly smaller and more competitive, the need for leaders of industry is becoming ever greater. This course will prepare students for such a career.

    You will study the following modules:

        * International Trade
        * Private International Law
        * Globalisation
        * Commercial Law and Practice
        * Carriage of Goods by Sea
        * Research Methods
        * Dissertation
        * Plus two options and a half module

    How To Study

    The course will be studied using a combination of lectures, tutorials and self-directed learning. The dissertation will require extensive research and innovative thinking by the student. The taught modules will be assessed by in-course assignments of approximately 4,000 words per assessment, with the dissertation module comprising a dissertation of not more than 20,000 words.
