This programme offers an in-depth analysis of major scholarly debates in history, politics, political thought and international relations. You are exposed to a range of interdisciplinary approaches through a compulsory core module and will then choose to specialise either on modules covering specific regions or on issues affecting the whole of Europe. You may opt for a general pathway in which you will spend the entire academic year at King's. Alternatively, if you have the appropriate linguistic competence, you are offered a pathway in French or German and the opportunity to pursue your study abroad, spending a semester in one of our partner institutions.
Our MA has a cosmopolitan mix of students from Britain, the EU and beyond. It is part of our highly successful and expanding European Studies programme and benefits from a core staff of young, energetic and well-published lecturers.
