    Teaching and assessment methods
    Students undertake a programme of supported, self-directed study. Most of the materials necessary to complete the course are mailed to the students, with further materials available online. Support is provided by a team of specialist tutors. An optional summer school offers opportunities for face-to-face interaction and networking. The course is continuously assessed. Students who achieve the required standard and who wish to work towards a Masters degree, complete a dissertation.
