• Objectives
  This programme of study provides students with an opportunity to explore the concept of how the coaching process is applied whilst inspecting the scientific rationale behind high-level coaching practice. It aims to educate new, innovative and progressive coaches by accessing the latest research and developments from within this subject and provide practicing coaches with a postgraduate educational experience in a bid to continually upgrade the experience of their clients.
  
  The programme comprises six taught modules and a dissertation, with a learning experience which allows students to tailor the application of scientific principles to inform their own practice.
  
  At the start of the programme, you will be assigned a personal academic tutor to support you throughout the duration of your studies and assist you in formulating your individual goals and interests.
• Entry requirements
  2:1 honours degree or above in Coaching Science or related undergraduate degree
  HND and two years of relevant industry-based experience

  Teaching and learning
  Learning is through lectures, tutorials, seminar groups, research projects and self-directed study. Assessment is via written assignment, presentations and a research dissertation to gain the full Master's degree.
